DofTNet Enterprises

Several months ago, I noticed that the server that hosted many of the DofTNet websites and services was starting to have some problems, so I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, before the replacement arrived, the old one killed itself.

The replacement arrived and I set about trying to rebuild. Unfortunately nothing is ever that easy and the new server had problems. I returned it for service and after a few weeks, they sent it back with some replacement innards. so far it's been humming along nicely.

I have most of my critical services rebuilt again - DNS, email, that sort of thing. Now it's time to start working on building all new websites. It's probably going to take a while since I lost nearly a decade and a half of work, but on the bright side, I've learned a lot since I first started out.

Planned sites include a new site for all of my origami work, a new solar balloon site, sites for other online services I plan to offer, and whatever other brilliant ideas I come up with in the meantime.

It's the start of a new year, and I plan on making the best of it.
