The innards of atoms are held together by the strong nuclear force. Electrons just hang out around the nucleus because they have the hots for the protons. These units are mostly just held together by the force friction. stick the point of one module into the pocket of the next. I'm using different colored modules here for contrast - your atoms should all be one color.
